Let's all agree that DIY coziness can aspire no further than a handmade quilt. When you treat yourself to a quilt made by YOUR hands, you'll find yourself looking for every excuse to bundle up with a good book or snuggle with your bestie. This class will teach a simple half-square triangle quilt with straight-line quilting, guaranteed to be a piece you'll treasure for years to come.
Class project is a crib or throw size quilt.
Skills learned:
- Piecing and colorwork
- Quilting techniques
- Binding
Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate. You MUST already be comfortable threading and operating a sewing machine as well as sewing straight lines. If you are a novice sewer, please check out our Sewing 101 course instead.
Please note that while this class tries to make it doable to sew a quilt in six sessions, some homework may be required to stay on track. Having access to a sewing machine at home will help speed your progress significantly.
Materials not provided. An instructor will reach out you with a supply list in advance.
