With these jacket you'll be totally prepared for fall days or chilly spring evenings.
Skills learned:
- Inserting a separating zipper
- Collars/hood and facings
- Patch pockets & inseam pockets
- Setting in two-piece sleeves and cuffs
- Attaching a drawstring casing, metal grommets, & spring snaps (Lonetree)- Full jacket lining & facings (Moto Jacket)
Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced. Students MUST have prior garment-making experience and feel comfortable working with patterns, selecting a size and cutting fabric on their own.
Class will be held on Saturday November 3 from 12pm-6pm and Sunday November 4 from 10am-4pm at our studio at 1912 South St. There will be breaks for lunch to recharge, but lunch is not provided.
Due to the complexity of this sewing project and the condensed nature of the class, all participants MUST arrive with their fabric pieces already cut out so everyone can jump right into construction.
Registration for this class will be closed one week before the start date (Oct 27 by end of day), to ensure that each student receives the materials list and is able to complete their cutting homework ahead of time.
